Drain site for excess liquid is not possible     Only AC Electric Waterless models can be installed without a drain. 
No power available     FlushSmart VF not available in Non-Electric model. 
DC power available     All systems available in 12VDC option. 
AC power available     All systems available in AC Electric option. 
Structure on rock (less than 30" below)     Waterless or Low Water Remote Systems may work if toilet is raised in some cases. 
No water     Water can be added manually to low flush systems. 
Small bathroom (less than 26" wide and/or less than 45" deep)     Waterless Self-Contained units may work with tight fit in some cases. 
Basement or slab level     No room for bottom drain so Waterless Self-Contained and FlushSmafrt VF "A" or "S" models will work. 
Space below bathroom floor (30" or more)     All systems should work.
